MOTHER 4's New Year's Revolution - Join the Team!

Hey folks. Lately, we've been aiming to optimize the efficiency of the games development pipeline through some strategic changes. First, we're tidying up our digital workspace! Think clearer blueprints, smoother workflows, and streamlined tasks – all thanks to improved asset and document organization. Plus, we've welcomed a producer on board to keep things organized and efficient.

Unfortunately, part of this initiative includes saying goodbye to our custom engine (code-named Oxide) seen in the 2021 trailer. This might seem like a step back in more ways than one, but we learned that building our own engine, while impressive, bottlenecked development. We've switched to Godot 3.4.5, a popular engine that lets us expand the team and accelerate progress. Don't worry, core systems from Oxide are already integrated, and there's more to come!

So, what's next? Growth! Godot opens doors for talented developers to join us. We're also looking for pixel artists to help craft vibrant overworld characters and maps, as well as polish existing sprites.
